Revolution in Ergonomics

Discovery⁺ is a revolutionary digital pipette which combines all the requirements of highest ergonomics and users comfort. Its body shape fits equally in small and large hands. Constructed from durable PP/PVDF they are noticeably lighter in weight than many competitive models. Our new thumb-friendly spring system has reduced plunger pressures by up to 50%. The large, smooth and rounded pushbutton completes the experience.

Completely Autoclavable

For sensitive laboratory applications, all DISCOVERY⁺ models are fully autoclavable at
121^oC/100kPa/20 min. Unlike many "autoclavable" pipettes, DISCOVERY⁺ requires minimal accuracy checks and/or recalibration.

UV Resistant

Crafted out of highly durable materials DISCOVERY⁺ Series Pipettes can be safely sterilise with UV radiation. Even prolonged exposure to UV beams does not damage the plastic and the de-coloration of the pipette parts is minimal.

Dual Volume Adjustment System

In order to meet preferences of all pipette users DISCOVERY⁺ Series Pipettes are equipped with a dual volume adjustment system. Pipette volume can be set precisely with one hand by the turn of the volume setting knob, whilst for rewinding of the volume counter the pipetting pushbutton can be applied. The top part of the pushbutton is rotational to prevent accidental changing of pipette volume.

Adjustable Tip Ejector

Tip ejector stroke can be swiftly adjusted to fit wide range of pipette tip brands. The ejector of pipettes of up to 1000 µl can be easily taken off for cleaning. Its durable spacers resist numerous ejector removals without getting loose. DV/D5000 and DV/D10000 are the pipettes that allow for adjustment of the tip ejector for a certain kind of tip. Some brands of tips seal high on the cones, whilst other seal very low making the ejection impossible for a standard pipette. A simple turn of the ejector pushbutton arbor enables the adapting of those DISCOVERY⁺ pipettes for any kind of pipette tip.

Internally, featuring medical grade stainless steel springs/pistons* plus a PTFE/O-ring seal system for a long serviceable life. Each and every DISCOVERY⁺ is subjected to extensive quality/performance checks before it is passed for despatch. Calibrated and issued with a unique individual certificate of accuracy and precision to guarantee the standards set by the manufacturing quality management systems - certified to ISO 9001/2000 - you can absolutely rely on DISCOVERY⁺ !

HTL STARTER KIT & HTL STARTER KIT BIO

DISCOVERY⁺ STARTER KITs create an interesting opportunity for the users who are just starting to equip their laboratory, or who decided to switch to HTL pipette system. There are two DISCOVERY⁺ STARTER KITs, which contain 3 DISCOVERY⁺ pipettes in most popular and universal volumes: HTL STARTER KIT (2-20 µl, 20-200 µl and 100-1000 µl) or HTL STARTER KIT BIO (0.5-10 µl, 10-100 µl and 100-1000 µl) and accessories*.

Unlike the starters of competition, pipettes delivered in HTL STARTER KITs are fully equipped (including calibration tools, pipette hangers and instruction manual).
