Revolution in Ergonomics

Discovery⁺ is a revolutionary digital pipette which combines all the requirements of highest ergonomics and users comfort. Its body shape fits equally in small and large hands. Constructed from durable PP/PVDF they are noticeably lighter in weight than many competitive models. Our new thumb-friendly spring system has reduced plunger pressures by up to 50%. The large, smooth and rounded pushbutton completes the experience.

Multichannel Manifold

DISCOVERY⁺ Multichannels feature a revolutionary suspension system which allows the shafts to retract slightly when they are pressed against a row of pipette tips. Each shaft moves independently, resulting in an even sealing force being applied to all 8 or 12 tips. This ensures that all tips secured on their individual shaft with the minimum of effort - and never fall off!

360^o Ejector

The suspension system not only ensures secure tip sealing but also eliminates the common incidence of tips being jammed on pipette outer shafts. The innovative ejection bar is curved, allowing the tips to be pushed off in steps, therefore reducing the amount of force required for ejection. For comfortable pipetting in any direction improved DISCOVERY⁺ manifold now ejects tips within 360^o .

Completly Autoclavable

For sensitive laboratory applications, all DISCOVERY⁺ models are fully autoclavable at
121^oC/100kPa/20 min. Unlike many "autoclavable" pipettes, DISCOVERY⁺ requires minimal accuracy checks and/or recalibration.

UV Resistant

Crafted out of highly durable materials DISCOVERY⁺ Series Pipettes can be safely sterilized with UV radiation. Even prolonged exposure to UV beams does not damage the plastic and the de-coloration of the pipette parts is minimal.

Dual Volume Adjustment System

In order to meet preferences of all pipette users DISCOVERY⁺ Series Pipettes are equipped with a dual volume adjustment system. Pipette volume can be set precisely with one hand by the turn of the volume setting knob, whilst for rewinding of the volume counter the pipetting pushbutton can be applied. The top part of the pushbutton is rotational to prevent accidental changing of pipette volume.
