Warranty Conditions for HTL Liquid Handling Products
HTL Liquid Handling products are very precise measurement
devices and they may be subject to various unnoticed
improper interactions, even under ideal laboratory
conditions. It is strongly recommended for the laboratory
equipment to be inspected and maintained at least once a
year by authorized service. It will assure its correct and
precise work during the life of the product.
Should you notice improper functioning of our product
please contact your distributor for advice. In rare cases
when product malfunctions it might be repaired under the warranty policy. The following rules apply to HTL
warranty conditions:
- Warranty period
HTL products guaranteed to be free from defects in design
and workmanship for the certain time starting from product
manufacturing date indicated in pipette serial number.
Below chart demonstrates the length of the warranty period
for different products of HTL.

- Warranty does not apply
This warranty is void if the product is damaged by
improper or abnormal use, by accident, if the product is
altered or modified in any way or if any attempt is made to
repair the product without authorization from HTL. The
warranty is void if the product is continuously exposed to
corrosive reagents which can cause the incidental damage of
the parts. Particularly if the product is damaged by:
scratches, bends, breakages, corrosion of the plunger, thermal or chemical plastic parts surface flaw.
- Equipment parts exempt from the warranty
HTL warranty does not cover: the pipette teflon seal,
o-ring and the shaft as well as the pipette holder of the
SWIFTPET® pipetting controller. Having very high durability,
those parts may lose their features during long use.
- Procedure of placing the quality claim
Whenever you notice improper functioning of HTL equipment
feel free contact your HTL distributor for advice. We also
recommend that you take a look at the information on
troubleshooting available at this website and in
Instruction
Manual of your
product. It might occur that the reason of the
malfunctioning is prosaic and that simple action can fix
your tool. Should the problem noticed occurred to be more
severe and your distributor asked you to return the product,
please send it back to him together with filled
Claim Form.
It is very important for HTL that we receive the
information on the conditions at which your tool was
operated. It help us to determine the cause of
product malfunctioning and avoid such occurrences in
the future. Therefore in the interest of the end
users and in order to ensure safety of our staff we
are forced to place the condition that only
products returned with filled claim forms are
subject to warranty repair procedure.
